Salzgitter Hydroforming is a technology specialist for Hydroforming and one of the largest suppliers of hydroformed components in Europe. Especially hydroformed parts for exhaust systems, chassis and car body as well as for heat technology belong to our core competencies. Among our customers are the best known car manufacturers and their suppliers as well as a market leader in heat technology.

Our company is a partner for the series production and development of hydroformed components. The parts are developed with state-of-the-art CAD and simulation - software and they are produced with the latest equipment. The implementation of all relevant up- and downstream processes in our firm guarantees the optimization of costs and processes.

The company was founded in 1998 under the name Oswald Hydroforming. The steel and technology group Salzgitter AG was holding a share of nearly 25 % in Oswald Hydroforming since 1999. Eventually, the group acquired Oswald completely in January 2003. Since 2006 the affiliation to the Salzgitter Group is also reflected in the company name Salzgitter Hydroforming.

On January 1, 2008 Salzgitter Hydroforming took over the hydroforming devision of Schmolz & Bickenbach (former Babock Hydroform) and could thereby strengthen its grown innovative business. Salzgitter Hydroforming produces serical products on the most sophisticated machinery with more than 200 employees and 8 hydroforming presses at the plants Crimmitschau and Brumby.
