On 1 June 2017 our new logistics hall has been put into operation at our plant in Crimmitschau. The lightweight logistics hall has a storage space of 525 m². Furthermore a layer of bitumen was applied on an outside area of 800 m². These investments lead to relaxation of the capacity situation inside of the manufacturing halls.
“The new logistics hall provides us with more open spaces. That makes our production more lean and more efficient”, said Thorsten Schneider (Logistics Manager). “Only the material which is needed for the current manufacturing process is now placed in the staging area next to the machines. With the creation of new central storage space FIFO method can be carried out much easier.”
